VOTA PVBLICA Elagabalus, veiled and togate, standing front, head to left, sacrificing out of his right hand over lighted altar. BMC -, cf. 292 (bust draped and cuirassed). Cohen -. RIC -. Thirion 373. A rare and interesting issue with a lovely eastern portrait. Minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
